  • during the last 8 years i did a lot of LCARS displays. now i've started to rediscover them piece by piece. and i will post hopefully the majority here......enjoy!

  • here is the display called ANCILLARY MODULATION. this display was often seen in combination with engineering issues.

  • a very famous star region in ST movie IX Insurrection was the Briar Patch. here is an Astrometric Display of the Briar Patch.

  • i like to use real astronomic images for LCARS Displays. here is a real image of the supernova remnant G 1.9+0.3 combined with an Astrometric Display.

  • another real astronomic image is this display of the pulsar G 327-1.1.1 in our galaxy. the first Astrometric Display shows the pulsar and in the second the sensors detected a wormhole caused by the pulsar.

  • well, this graphics are the result of a period of 8 years. the really first ones i can't show here again - they look very poor :) but i will post a lot of the LCARS stuff here on occasion - one after one. i have to do finetuning with the most of the graphics. sometimes i'm laughing. how could i have done things in the way i did? today i'm much more experienced and can create things in a fractional amount of the time i needed then. ;)

  • and one more realistic astronomic image: the taurus dark cloud or taurus molecular cloud region. it's a very stunny space region - in real and at the star trek universe too, becuae it's the region of the mysterious race of the tholians.
