Battlestar Galactica: Triad Card Game

  • As I always wanted to have such cards, bu honestly the ones you can buy are too expensive, as I think, I tried to make my own ones.

Here the first "edition" I made in PowerPoint some years ago.

  • And I tried to expand the common known card set by new "colors" .....

The last pic is one of the source pics I used, from Propworx.

  • After looking around on the internet, I found always the standard measurements for the cards being 3" to 3", or 7,62 cm to 7,62 cm.

Then I found a picture with a cubit coin on it, and I could evaluate the card size by using the size of the cubit coin, being 1" to 1.5", or
2,54 cm to 3,81 cm. See pic 1 and 2.

Well, then I printed out one of my cards and evaluated three measurements, as seen on pic 4!

    1) 1.65" = 4,2 cm
    2) 3.31" = 8,4 cm
    3) 2.83" = 7,2 cm

Okay so far, finding my way by a cubit coin, I got a card, but actually, my personal opinion is, that they are too small!

    So ...

I made the card a bit larger (see pic number 5), with the following measurements:

    1) 1.83" = 4,65 cm
    2) 3.62" = 9,2 cm
    3) 3.15" = 8 cm

and I got a card I can better hold in my hand!

As it is the case, maybe I am too lazy or to parsimonious to buy the Anovos cards, but I always tried to make the props by myself!

So, well, I will make my cards with the larger size figures. :D
