    Hello everybody,

in the picture you see a set of four "made for production" Dabo Chips from Quarks Bar on DS9. Last year I had the pleasure to meet one of the former employees from Paramount and we did an exchange business on this.

    Keep on trekkin'

These are not replicas, they are made from the prop builders from Paramount, but not seen on screen.

  • I remember, this was one of the last topics on the old lcarsc.com, and Cmdr.Kerner and me, we talked a lot about these cool chips.

I created also my own ones so far, based upon the stuff the Cmdr posted.

  • I also thought a bit into the direction of different values and further colors.

And, my opinion so far, there have to be Cardassian labeled and Federation labeled chips, of course the Ferengi still on it.

I have no idea how far the original plans went with these chips, but well, I cared for. :D

  • Well, time to bring back some light in here again ....

I never was really content with my Quark, and so I overhauled my chips a bit. Only this small portion of stuff so far, but more will follow ...

The small black pattern is the original size, whereas I displayed the chips a bit larger for having a better look on the details.

Well, and my Quark, better now I think.

I also compared the chips to the size of Tongo cards, as you can also see ...
