    Btw. just out of curiosity has Corel Draw in prove on the layer management with object management? I mean can you see the objects in a list and select. Last time I tried that wasn't possible without using toggling visibility tricks and such. Or maybe I just fail to work with it...

    Yes, version X6 has got the object management, but I can't remember since when CorelDraw has got it. Usually I'm skipping a few versions before I purchase a new one.
